Opening day at Alta was just awful. Only two lifts open and two trails. Hour waits in the morning diminishing somewhat, but still long waits into the early afternoon. Mostly corn/crud but N/W facing slopes stayed decent. Views were immaculate in the afternoon when the sun came out. Overall pretty sweet for a Monday. I love this place!

Snow is awesome! Soft, grippy, not icy. The higher elevation helps a lot vs Park City/Deer Valley. No crowds for a Monday. Here’s the top of the Snowbird tram. Flat light as usual but still a great day!

Pockets of 36”+ pow, a baseline of 8”. Massive gusts, low vizz. My boots are bothering me, unfortunately.

Yesterday was icy in the morning but softened by noon. Slopes are pretty skied off. Did find a few stashes of powder in the trees. Hoping for more snow

Snow. Kind of heavy. Hard to push so bumpy. Not a great groomer day but great fresh snow.
