100% open with freshies in 2016, yes 2016, not 2010, people exaggerating because they're bitter about a bad yr. But Im sure if they have a good yr next yr, they'll be back. SA is in Southern NM, what do you expect!

Really good day. Not too busy, soft snow (which is unusual for Sandia), the only thing is bundle up, it gets cold/windy on the lift.

Truth: only 2 ski runs and 2 lifts are open. It is the Green run Heading Home. At the very end, you can peal off onto a Blue, Exhibition. Everything else is ski school stuff at the base. Each day they say the back side will open soon. Ha. Maybe by spring break... The snow is packed groomed. Night skiing is less crowded.

They are doing a really good job of making snow each morning. They are trying to open back side today. no terrain parks open yet, but snow that is on ground is nice .
