Great skiing, good for young learners...
town is VERY small, not much for off the mountain

First time I pulled up to Angel Fire, I didn't think I was going to like it. The "town" is VERY spread out and doesn't have much to offer, at all. But, when we are there to ski, we rarely venture out in the evenings anyways. The base is more or less a bunch of temporary buildings and could definitely use some improvement as there are TONS of stairs which is difficult in ski boots. The skiing though is great. AWESOME beginner area to learn on with a small lift for the kids. Long greens and awesome blues. Definitely good for the money, but don't expect the fanciness you'll get out of a Colorado resort...by any means. But still a great place, we will go back for sure.
