Saddleback Ski Area opened in 1960. Saddleback features the most extensive beginner terrain in the northeast, with four miles of gentle sloping trails that are found below the base lodge and away from the rest of the mountain. Their ski and snowboard school boasts the lowest student to instructor ratio in North America. In addition to their beginner services, Saddleback has a top notch and unique base lodge, affordable skiing and riding and all of Saddleback's mountain lodging has ski-in/ski-out access.

Saddleback Inc. - Skied Saddleback two days on March 20th & 21st. Wanted to ski the 22nd as well, but strong winds shut down the mountain. This is our favorite mountain in NE now. Plentiful snow this year, superb grooming, friendly lift crews, no lift lin  - © cechlin151
