Known as one of Colorado’s highest ski areas with a summit of 13,010 feet, and one of the first resorts to open every season, Loveland Ski Area sits on the east side of the Eisenhower Tunnel and crosses the Continental Divide. With two base areas, Loveland Valley and Loveland Basin, skiers and riders have access to 1,800 acres with an additional 100 acres of hike-to terrain. Averaging 400 inches of snowfall annually, 93 trails offer everything from groomers to trees to big open bowls off the Ridge. Lift service is offered to 12,700 feet and the Ridge Cat now offers snowcat tours off of the North Side of the Ridge.

Loveland - Was there Sunday. Snow was fantastic. They reported 1" on their snow ruler, but it was MUCH deeper drifted in parts. All trails were great. Lifts had quick lines. They got a ton more snow on Monday. Cover was thin on some of the expert terrain - © YoDood
Loveland - It was nice to ride chair nine. Just need another big storm to add on to the endless fun up there. - © kmoorejr7
Loveland - Awesome conditions down at Loveland yesterday. Bitter cold at the top, but tons of powder, and short lift lines! - © colleengoldhorn
Loveland - We went on early Sunday to Loveland with a fairly light crowd. The lines for the lifts were fairly short which was nice. The snow was good mainly for Blue and Greens. Some blacks open, though hit rocks and trees on the Blacks and Double Blacks. - © Ryan
