Loveland is great. I grew up on a small family owned mountain, and Loveland is the same vibes. All of the staff is friendly, and you can’t beat the quick trip from Denver and getting to skip the tunnel and/or Loveland pass. The Rathskeller pub is always a vibe. Parking is free and easy and the snow is great. Love Loveland. ... Full Review

My family and I honestly love Loveland. The snow is always fresh and terrain is nice and wide so it never feels crowded.
The best thing is with it being just if 70 if traffic is horrible at the tunnel and the pass is closed, it's much easier to pull off and get the day started at Loveland rather than waiting another hour or two in traffic.
It will feel smaller than other runs say at Winter Park or Breck but if you're going from the top on a pow day it doesn't get much better.... Full Review

I had an amazing time at Loveland this last year. Loveland will provide fun for families and individuals alike, across a variety of different levels of experience. There are plenty of beginner and intermediate runs and the views are hard to beat. Beginners can expect WIDE greens and rather quick blues. You will have fun both on the mountain and off, as there are great food and beverage options. However, come with a designated driver, as there is no lodging at the ski area.... Full Review

I’ve been skiing for 35 years and this was the worst resort I’ve ever been to. My kids were signed up for ski school and we arrived 1.5 hours early, as instructed, and they STILL were late to lesson. The whole process and area reminded me of 1990. Worst part was, nobody cared. THEN we took a shuttle to next area of resort where husband and I were to rent our equipment. We usually rent because we get newest skis and then we don’t have to travel on plane with them. Process is usually very quick and painless. We literally stood in line for over 2 hours before we got our skis. So, so far, we arrived at 8:30 and it was 12:30 before we were ready to hit the slopes. But wait, we had to go get kids from ski school. Website states that lesson is from 10-1 but after arriving they tell us pickup is 12:30. We finally are on lift by 1pm. You get to top and there is NO signage! No names of runs and no indication of difficulty. To sum it up, we go to turn in equipment and the staff is yelling very loudly to us patrons to hurry up and that we better be out the door in 5 minutes. They were going to make me take all the kids stuff down to other part of ski resort even though it’s all the same place. This place is a great value if you want to waste over half the day waiting in line. Got 4 runs in today and I was there 8:30-4. ... Full Review

Best ski experience of my life. Massive yet still contained and easy to navigate, with some of the best terrain ever. Always has powder, and is in one of the most beautiful locations ever, surrounded by massive mountains. Only thing is the lifts, which are a bit slow.... Full Review

Worst ski experience. My son has full-day ski lesson on 12/27/2019 on Friday. My family arrived at the Love land valley about 9am to check in my son for ski group RESERVED lesson starting at 10am. Crowded and no instruction and no sign for check-in and rental process. I was waiting for 3 AND HALF hours to check him in and rent all equipment. The staff kept saying this is the busiest time around the year. Do I have to feel sorry about coming when they're busy? They should've had more staffs or more efficient system, or not have reservations over their capacity. It was 12:30 when my son started his lesson. After lunch served with corn dogs, chips and water, kids were waiting again for escalator in long line and skiing in the short slope. There were 7~8 kids with an instructor in a group. My kid ski down the short slope with escalator only 4 times in the full day lesson. I complained about it to sales supervisor, and she said "sorry" and gave one blank paper for customer feedback. I didn't feel that she was sorry AT ALL. And she said that she would refund $20 for half-day which is not seen anywhere in their website. They ruined my family vacation and wasted my time because they're busy. And they treated me as a lousy customer requesting $20 bucks. Do not go there especially for kids lesson. Or go there when they are NOT busy.... Full Review
Closest to Denver metro. Be on the slopes skiing before others are even out of the parking lot. Separate Valley for beginners. You can literally stand on the Continental Divide with 360° views. Great terrain variety for all levels of skiers.... Full Review
