Wet, heavy, messy, not worth the trek. Sad all that good snow was saturated with these warm temps.

Sierra cement. Wind. Avalanches. Rain. All the snow sounds amazing but it’s actually garbage.

Lots of new snow, but it got skied up in a hurry! Lift lines were tough today - 20 minutes plus at KT and Granite. They couldn’t get Headwall running today so still fresh runs to be had there perhaps tomorrow?

I work at Alpine Meadows, Snow Removal.. honestly the amount of snow being reported is a lie. The report is way lighter than what it really is. 2/14 we picked up 40+inches alone from 11:59PM - 6:45AM. The mountain was shut down all day due to too much snow. It has been a long 2 weeks of 12-15 hours daily. Alpine got way more snow than what is being reported!!.

Squaw and Alpine never opened and will not open today due to avalanche and wind danger.

Been snowing for the last 21hours, waiting to see what will be open today if any. Yesterday was closed all day at Squaw.
