Chair 5 which services sunnyside and half the mountain has been closed. Apparently engine is out for quite awhile. Check the status before you go .

Other than having one chair closed (chair 5, sunrise basin) snow was great, and the mountain in general is always great! Some hidden powder stashes tucked away, but also some skied out crud and packed powder

Foggy, windy, about 32 so the snow was super heavy. Lots of stashes of untouched, but definitely a quad killing day.
