It feels lie the management doesnt like skiing and would not be there if not for the money. The chairlifts are scary old and creaky. The mountian is badly groomed at best and mostly not groomed. The lodge is cold, crowded, wet and there is zero seating due to all the families hanging around while one family member skis. The employees clearly hate being there and are likely paid garbage wages with no benefits. The road up to the place is terrifying hav es real snow vhf tires and bring your ki wn sand as they dont sand the damn road. The prices are very high for the way the place is maintained. The most extreme part of skiing at 49 north is the chairlift ride. The lifts are clearing ready to fall apart. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen. If I were a spokane injury lawyer I would be leaving cards on the tables in that place. Even the rentals are old. I hate to think of the diseases in the ski boots. Eeewww
