I just got burned by this false advertisement. Jay peak only has 1 trail open and 1 lift, booked a trip this coming week and then looked on jay peaks website to find I would have driven 7hrs to ride 1 trail

Best powder days I’ve had at jay and I’ve had many. What an epic weekend. Knee deep stashes everywhere. There was so much pow I’ve found lines and glades I didn’t even know existed yet. Flyer and tram were closed on Saturday but you could hike a bit to hit that side. Jay is the BEST

Snow Reporter Comments
Day 52:
All aboard the Powder Town Express.
With over THREE FEET OF SNOW in the past week and more snow in the forecast, it’s full steam ahead for the foreseeable future.
78 stops are on the schedule today with extra grin-worthy conditions. The train heads for the upper mountain starting at 9:00a with the lower mountain locomotive departing the base station at 8:30a; all engines hit the rail yard at 4:00p.
Wearing a face mask shouldn't be a challenge today as temps will be in the teens down low and single digits up high. You might even want to wear two.
