Solitude is a breath of fresh air - it is intimate, manageable, fun for everyone, no lift lines and very good terrain...and yes, affordable. I love Alta, Snowbird, Park City and others but this is a nice change of pace - a bit of a throwback experience, skiing as it was `20 years ago...great terrain, a ton of reliable snow, very civil environment and lower key.
