Unfortunately given the changing media landscape, Mountain News Corporation has experienced financial declines in recent years. With additional economic challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic now facing our business, it is not financially viable to continue operating.

Mountain News Corporation and our OnTheSnow and Skiinfo websites will be shutting down. We will explore the possibility of selling, partnering, or contributing assets to another media outlet if there is an opportunity to allow for a consistent or enhanced online experience. Well just arrived yesterday to Park City Utah to ski for a week with my family. After one day of skiing Epic decides to close all North America ski resort due to covid-19 for a week. I understand however for a week. What will that do? Shut it down. To keep anyone else whose coming next week in limbo. Prevent someone from taking a financial hit like I did.

Machine groomed runs nice this week. Mogul runs getting icy with no new snow. Top of the mountain still has powder if you are willing to hike for it
