Beautiful opening day on the 5th, one lift spinning with only Family trail open. Day 2 the 6th has snow falling in the afternoon and the opening of a second lift also offering only one run. Skied off and icy at the end of the day but can’t complain about some laps in early december!

<p>Mont Orford, located in Quebec, has the fourth highest summit elevation at 2800 feet, in the entire province and has skiing and snowboarding spread out over three mountains, Orford, Alfred-Desrochers and Giroux. Skiers and riders can enjoy 245.53 acres of skiable terrain, a vertical drop of 1933 feet and terrain spread out over easy, difficult, very difficult and extremely difficult terrain. Guests are provided with a variety of lodging options in the Memphremagog region, including hotels, inns, bed &amp; breakfasts and cottages. Dining options range from the luxurious Bistro 4 Saisons to Aux 2 tomates Pizza and fine cuisine.&nbsp;</p>

Ski in/ski out condominiums at base with other lodges; bed and breakfasts in the Magog-Orford region.

Cafeteria, restaurant and bar at every area with a variety of dining and lounges nearby.  Ski shop, rentals, repair, lessons, child care, teenager meeting place, and first aid at the area.  Hospital is located nearby.  Eighty-five percent snowmaking.
