Snow Reporter Comments: Mountain Report 4/30 7:00am Update: As the sun rises on this final day of April, a look west reveals a gleaming white Mt. Bachelor standing tall above the tree line to offer a truly inspirational start to your morning. Taking full advantage of a 105” base, our grooming team has once again laid out miles of smooth corduroy for your skiing and riding pleasure. Although West Village base currently reads a brisk 25°, an inversion has mid-mountain reading closer to 35° already, which should make for edgeable and rapidly improving snow conditions as we approach a high in the 50s later today. Winds are expected to remain light throughout the day. Don’t forget, with Cloudchaser and Northwest both slated to wrap up operations for the season on Sunday, May 4th, today makes 5 remaining days to enjoy late-season laps on our outlying terrain. If you haven’t already, download the Mt. Bachelor App to have some extra fun pursuing specific achievements for each lift, such as the “Head in the Clouds” or “Westside Winder” medals. As if the great weather and awesome snow conditions weren’t compelling enough, our Spring Send-Off Sale offers additional savings beyond the already discounted online ticket rates to score the best possible deals for the last month of the season. Click the link above to grab yours now! Be Advised: • West Village Lodge is your stop for food and beverage services. Detailed hours of operation and menus can be found here. • Park in the West Village or Skyliner lots. Sunrise parking is closed for the season. • Sunrise and Pine Marten Lodges are closed for the season. Pine Marten restrooms remain open daily. • Our Uphill Policy remains in effect—please adhere to marked routes and signage. After daily lift operations, uphill travel is ONLY permitted on the Cinder Cone. Heavy machinery and winch cables are deployed at various locations on the mountain and pose significant danger. For the safety of yourself and our employees, respect terrain closures. Uphill Pass armbands must be visibly displayed at all times when traveling on Mt. Bachelor uphill routes, during both operating and non-operating hours.
