I visited Snow Trails on Feb 12th 2021. The kids ski program is absolutely the best I've ever experienced. You make your reservation online, and when you arrive they are ready to greet your child (with masks) and bring them to their pre-selected equipment. They help them figure out their boots and skis, and make the whole thing fun for them. No fuss, skip the rental shop - parents are off to the slopes! Grooming was very good, consistently great snow (for Ohio) throughout - although the best snow is always in the West Woods. That other place in Ohio might be bigger, but you just can't get around the data - the Possum Run Valley is the best in the state for snow. The Chalet was a little confusing at first - is this section for get your own food, or does a waitress come here? Am I supposed to step over this rope? But once we got our food, it was definitely cut above Midwest ski food. My parmesan chicken wrap was excellent, and the craft beer prices were unbeatable. Best of all, my daughter (in the kids program) went from nervous at the start of the day, to excited to get on any chair lift in the resort. I was amazed. We picked her up and skied for another 2 hours - thank you Snow Trails!
