Good morning, spring shredders,
We’re wrapping up April with a little of everything, clouds, sun, and that glorious soft snow we call spring corn. Thunderstorms rolled through overnight, so trail openings may shift, please check back here for any updates throughout the day.
Temps are starting cooler and firmer this morning under overcast skies, but the sun is expected to break through by late morning, setting us up for a bright and buttery afternoon near 50°F. Whether you're carving cruisers or chasing slush bumps, it’s shaping up to be a perfect harvest day for spring skiing.
Sunday’s surprise 3–5 inches is still hanging on in the shady glades and tree stashes (looking at you, Kitz Woods), giving us a little pow-meets-corn combo for those willing to hunt.
A couple of changes to note as we slash and dash into late spring:
Reminders & Operations Trail Count: Expected to hold steady but check back for live updates.
Base Area: All operations now run through Stateside; Tramside is closed for the season.
Terrain Parks: Closed for the season.
Tickets: $59 at the window, or $49 online in advance
Amazing snow for late March! Lots of fresh snow made for powder everywhere in the morning and by afternoon some scraped off spots but still great. Finally got to ride the tram too. Lift lines were quite long though for all the upper mountain lifts.
Jay Peak Resort, located on Jay Peak in Vermont’s Green Mountains, is home to some of the East’s best terrain providing skiers and riders with amazing tree glades, long groomed trails, and abundant natural snowfall. The resort lies just south of the Canadian border near the town of Jay, Vermont.
At Jay Peak, there is a great mix of beginner to advanced trails connected by an updated chairlift system. The ski area contains a large snow making infrastructure able to cover a majority of the resort.
