Had a great time today. Conditions were great in morning but got slushy in afternoon with warm temps and sun. Pretty day to be at 5506' and having a cold snack!

Don't be discouraged by the previous writers report. Beech Mtn. Has received about 4-5" inches of snow in the last 12 hours and snowmaking is also in effect. Tonight is a nice recovery mini-pow. Things are looking great for the immediate future and weekend as well.

Here is the 86" base for you. It is surprising though that there is anything left at all after the insane rain these past couple of days. Wonder if they will try and recover this late in the season?
