As the weather warms and the days lengthen, skiers and riders turn their attention toward spring skiing. The West's endless barrage of heavy snowfall this season has ensured quality skiing well past February in many states across the Sierras and Rockies. From California to Colorado, many ski resorts are reporting over 100-inch bases, with a handful boasting between 150-200 inches.

This much snow means open terrain and goggle tans for many skiers and riders living west of the Mississippi. See the infographic below for the deepest base depths across North America.
