WEEKEND STORM DUMPS 30-PLUS INCHES ON NORTHEAST SKI RESORTS
After what had been a very dry and disappointing season, a HUGE storm hit the northeast in late February and dropped over 30 inches at most resorts in Northern Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The author of this article was fortunate enough to be at Jay Peak Resort, where the storm dropped 47 inches, for one the best days, not just of the year, but of his entire skiing life.

A NEW ERA IN TERRAIN PARKS DEBUTS AT SEVEN SPRINGS JAN. 19
On January 19, 2012, Seven Springs Mountain Resort debuted their brand new "The Streets" Terrain Park, an entire park dedicated to urban jibbing. The park was an homage to the nearby city of Pittsburgh, Pa., and the Grand Opening was a huge party that went well into the night.
