Gore was good 12/26, though the only summit trail open was Chatiemac, which is usually a favorite, but that day it was straight ice, top to bottom. Topridge area and the lower mountain were great for December though.

My friends and I felt that conditions today were great for early season turns. A few small icy patches to be aware of but nothing too big. Gore's groomers did a great job. Sunway, Showcase, Pete's Paradise and Jamboree are in terrific shape. Looking forward to coming back after the holidays!!

Spring conditions big time. Mid mountain to lower base littered with ice and bare spots. Many trails are open that were left ungroomed. Dangerous for inexperienced. Anything groomed was soft and buttery. Bring your bibs, you’ll need em.
