Gore has expanded quite a bit with new lifts and terrain over the years. This mountain is super fun to ski. Trails go in all directions, each trail feels unique. Pretty sick terrain park features, night skiing, Nordic facilities, laid back family vibe. With good snow the glades are super challenging and tight trees. Steep trails, cruisers. Honestly the place is quite amazing. When the mountain is mostly open lift lines are not a big issue. During busy times you might need to avoid the gondola. But there are multiple approaches to the top of the mountain. Giving a 1 star review for this place is absurd, it doesn’t relate to the actual skiing and boarding experience. The vibe is super laid back. Enjoy your time here!... Full Review

I've been leaving messages with Stephanie from tickets for over a week now.Someone very close to me tested covid positive and when I tried to get my tickets refunded they've just ignored me. They warned me on their website to buy my tickets early or else they wouldn't be available because of limited capacity,(even though there's still tickets available just days before) and now they can't respond to the four voicemails I've left or the message the ticket vendor passed on for me. I have half a mind to go anyway and spread whatever virus I may have. It's that or I'm out $600... Full Review

Been going to Gore for years. They offer a great variety of terrain for all levels of skiers. They do a great job with snowmaking and grooming considering the lack of natural snow the mountain receives. I skied with my kids and continue now with my senior season pass.... Full Review
Wide variety. Good grooming.
Area lacks natural snowfall.

Gore is a great family mountain with all kinds of terrain for all levels and no lines! The grooming is excellent and all the glades are wonderful when mother nature cooperates! The terrain park was loved too! Gore is a hidden treasure! The little town of North Creek is adorable and like stepping back in time with a few great restaurants, coffee shop, bakery, a few great shops, grocery store, hardware store & community center Adorable!... Terrible customer service. No lifts running until nearly 10. Then only with with a long line. And they still charge fill price and don't give refunds. I get you can't control the weather, but don't charge 94$ for a terrible experience.... Full Review

My family and I have been coming to gore for over 30 years and they are continuously improving the resort. The experience is always knew from year to year and no wonder it is known as the best kept secret in the east. No lines and well-defined trails without having to Kris Kross and worried about getting into a collision. Burnt Ridge is my favorite.... Full Review

Gore never disappoints! From the steeps to the cruisers the skiing is awesome. NYS has pumped a lot of money into Gore, I finally feel like I am getting something for all the taxes I pay to live in NY! Only negative thing I can say is that they need to step up their cafeteria food, it really sucks. Take a page from Killington's summit cafeteria and serve some decent food!... Full Review
