Snow Creek is a *very* good place for kids, as they have a terrific Snow Monsters program and ski school. To be sure, the hill is relatively small, the facilities are decidedly frill-free, and powder days are rare (though not completely unknown). Still, given what they have to work with, they do a pretty good job. Intermediate and advanced skiers, if able to take and appreciate it for what it is, will find enough to keep them happy for a couple hours and make visits worthwhile. (Having the NASTAR course running makes a world of difference in this regard.) Except on the beginners' lift, the lines are usually not too bad, especially during the week, though they could do a bit better job managing the lines when it is crowded. Despite being a monopoly, the prices, while hardly cheap, are not exorbitant and they provided decent snow even in this exceptionally lousy past year, though it would be good to see them leave at least one or two runs ungroomed once in a while. The place clearly caters more to snowboarders, as evidenced by their relocating the terrain park to one of the better runs a year or so ago, and tubers, but it doesn't take much time here to realize that is understandable from a business standpoint.
