Equipment, rental, and lessons for all ability levels are available at Cedar River Village posted at the base of Schuss Mountain’s north face. There the Skibra (zebra-printed shuttle) can transport beginners to the Elf Buster beginner hill for easy access to the magic carpet.

I've been going here for decades and with the new owners pouring a ton of money into the resort I can honestly say that it's never been better. The skiing at Schuss is quality for the Midwest, although those accustomed to skiing the prime resorts in the West or East will not find it challenging. T…
