Temps this morning across the resort: 8 at Locke, 10 at North Peak, 1 in Jordan, and 16 at White Cap base. Highs today will be around 20 up high and 28 down low. Cold temps overnight gave grooming a solid window to really dial things in. They were out all night putting in extra work, so expect some very nice corduroy for those early laps.We've got an action-packed Saturday lined up. Over on Lollapalooza, the comps team is hosting their annual downhill race from 8AM to around 11AM. That trail will be closed top to bottom during that time. You'll still have access out of the hotel, and if you need to get back, the shuttle can take you there. If you're into hot dogs, good tunes, park laps, and free stuff, head over to Who-Ville from 1 to 3PM for Party in the Park. Hot dogs are first come, first served, so don't wait around. DJ NDB's back in the Iglu spinning from 10:30AM to 3PM. Cruise through for some food truck fuel and catch a solid mid-day après session with good tunes rolling. Today is also the last day for the White Heat Quad. If you've been thinking about one more Heat lap this season, this is your shot. Spanning three miles, Sunday River is spread across 870 accessible acres that spreads across eight interconnected peaks: White Cap, Locke Mountain, Barker Mountain, Spruce Peak, North Peak, South Ridge, Aurora Peak and Oz. This is a year-round ski resort with tree skiing and terrain parks for freestylers in the winter, and golfing and water sports in the summer.

Portland International Jetport in Portland, Maine, is a quick 90-minute drive from the ski resort. It’s about a three-hour drive from Boston’s Logan International Airport. You can rent a car and drive yourself, or pay for a shuttle from the airport.
