Unfortunately given the changing media landscape, Mountain News Corporation has experienced financial declines in recent years. With additional economic challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic now facing our business, it is not financially viable to continue operating.

Mountain News Corporation and our OnTheSnow and Skiinfo websites will be shutting down. We will explore the possibility of selling, partnering, or contributing assets to another media outlet if there is an opportunity to allow for a consistent or enhanced online experience. Great snow, great weather, terrible staff! It took 10 -20 minutes per person to get a ticket outside, it looked like the same wait inside, one person working the outside windows, two inside. None of the staff knew what was open and what was closed. They have so called mountain ambassadors standing around talking to their friends. Today it was a joke! Waste of money and time.

Snowed heavily till 2pm then turned to sleet and rain. Snow gives good control but is not very fast. About 12 features on the one run that's open.

Beautiful weather, but warm, spring conditions. Snow varies from decent packed powder to very sticky wet snow. Good coverage, very few bare patches.
