Arizona Snowbowl... we decided to rent board and boots there as we typically rent from Ski-Pro but thought it may be more convenient picking up and dropping off on the mountain. So we prepared 2 weeks in advance and nothing in the emails or on the site suggested there may be a possible wait. We arrived at 8:55 a.m. this morning, Monday the 8th of Frebruary, 2021. It wasn't nearly as busy this morning as I've seen on other days but still, it too us 3.5 hours to get our snowboard and boots. Yes, 3.5 hours and that is not an exaggeration. By the time we picked everything up, and after waiting in two separate lines to do so, my son and daughter were famished; it was lunch time. So we had to eat which took us into the 1 pm hour before we caught our first lift. Now of course, I could go on about how unbelievably disappointing it is that a company so hungry to capture revenue would do so by stipping the core value of being on the slopes from the very people who keep them in business but I think the 3.5 hour wait with no heads up from management, knowing this problem exists, is case in point. The worst part of it all is that for one set of weekday board and boot rentals is $27 with the equipment protection. It's as it these people in charge of operations have no regard for the value of my time which is in fact worth a heck of a lot more than that. So thank you very much Arizona Snowbowl for your blatant disregard for your customers' interests. I've been skiing since I was 7 years old and I've skiied in many top western United States resorts as well as resorts in Europe. You're far from a first class operation. Your mountain and your operation is forgettable at best.
