Awesome day at Castle Mountain Resort … fresh 14 cm of fluffy snow with largely a soft forgiving base… glad I waited!

Great weather, +3. Friendly staff. Runs were soft and easy to ski where the majority of people Skiied. However, on the runs less travelled it was crusty due to the rain jan21.

They need snow chutes not open. Red chair didn’t spin until almost 2:00 yesterday, Blue chair was 30 minutes late too. +4 and raining at the base at 3:15 PM yesterday. Hopefully conditions will improve not much decent terrain open.
