Dunno why I’m writing this on the last day of the season, but Snowshoe closing out strong with a pretty deep base, little to no snow/dirt mixing. Firm and edge able in the AM and softening up by mid-morning and for the last chair of the season. 90% groomed overnight. Western Territory was beautiful...

what a disaster. they closed soaring eagle and ballhooter and the lift lines were 20 minutes long. i wish i took a picture. snow was slushy and icy. trail reports not accurate. not worth the money.

It is cold. But snow is awesome. Best ever in our trips here, and best in years according to multiple lift mates. Hasn’t been above freezing since Xmas so nary a patch of ice to be found. And ~8 inches of fresh powder on Monday, just in time for me to get in some morning runs before having to leave....

Came over the mountains to seek the snow that has Blessed Snowshoe ski resort this season. They have reported over 41 inches in the last 7 days on their website and 'On The Snow' app. Over 109+ inches for the season so far. Great coverage on the slopes and in the glades.
