Snow Making
Weekend Crowds

Full review

Snowshoe/Silver Creek does a fabulous job of snow making when Mother Nature does not cooperate. It is the best Mid Atlantic resort. My only issues are the crowds and ridiculously priced accommodations. To avoid the crowds, I ski at Silver Creek. I find the slopes at Silver Creek better than Snowshoe. It would be nice if the Lodge of Silver Creek was updated to match the high prices they charge. It is one step above college dorm standards.

Snowshoe Mountain Resort - Some hardpack on lower cat tracks. Otherwise soft for the east coast. Last 5” was dry and fluffy. Great day at the shoe. - © bonecuffer smif
