    Snow Reporter Comments

Reminder- In accordance with CDC and Vermont state guidelines, everyone visiting the resort is required to have an appropriate face covering. That does not include typical ski masks with mouth or nose vents. Guests are also required to follow the State of Vermont travel and quarantine policies when using the resort. We appreciate your patience and cooperation, let’s stay safe together.
178 inch season total snowfall so far, with 62 inches falling in February.
Today's forecast calls for morning rain showers and sleet, then snow showers likely. Temps falling to 23 degrees up top and 29 degrees at the base by noon. Southwest winds at 30 to 45 miles per hour at the summit this morning, with localized registered gusts in the 40 to 60 mile per hour range. Wind chill values below zero this afternoon, so bundle up Stowefamily if you plan to join us for last chair.
9 uphill lifts are scheduled, along with the Over Easy Transfer Gondola. Wind permitting we will load first chair at 8:00am on the FourRunner Quad.
Overnight our grooming team has been grinding it out, they have been tilling and smoothing out the surface on 78 trails, including steep favorites Liftline, Hayride, and the iconic Nosedive. Enjoy over 32 miles of elevation specific varying textures of corduroy resort-wide. Ungroomed terrain remains variable, but certainly offers a fun challenge.
We anticipate a delayed opening on The Lower Standard terrain park to allow our Stowe Parks team time to adjust to rapidly changing feature conditions.
Main Street Race and Competition Hill are reserved for race training.
