Mountain News Corporation and our OnTheSnow and Skiinfo websites will be shutting down. We will explore the possibility of selling, partnering, or contributing assets to another media outlet if there is an opportunity to allow for a consistent or enhanced online experience. Everyone is over the moon at how good the snow was. Winter Storm Bruce dumped 19 inches, and every trail and glade was open.

They still have a ton of snow, worth the trip! Hopefully no rain this week to squeeze out a couple more weeks.

Unbelievably gourgeous snow on the groomer trails. Nice moguls and cover on the ungroomed intermidiates, and challenging conditions on the advanced and expert trail.

Skied at Magic on 3/4 after the 14" refresh. We bypassed more crowded areas and were happy to find great conditions at Magic including perfectly groomed runs and no lift lines on the one chair in operation. We limited most of our skiing to the snow-making trails, especially Upper Magic to Trick to Carumba or Show-Off and avoided the west side as warned. All VT ski areas suffered snow deficits in Feb, hoping now we'll see some improvement. Magic deserves our support - super-friendly staff and really fun skiing.

Love this place but the lack of snowfall = worst conditions in last 5y: ice, rocks on L.Magician, Talisman moguls skied off by noon.
