The mountain rises from a base elevation of 1,815 feet to a summit of 3,968 feet, offering a vertical drop of 2,153 feet. Snowmaking covers a large portion of the resort, ensuring reliable conditions throughout the season.
The resort features 80 trails served by 9 lifts, including an aerial tram, quad chairs, and surface lifts. The terrain breakdown includes 19% beginner, 35% intermediate, 31% advanced, and 15% expert runs, making it a well-balanced mountain for skiers of all levels. Families will appreciate the two tubing lanes, three terrain parks, and a dedicated learning area known as The Zone, which offers gentle slopes and introductory glades.

Other nearby airports include Plattsburgh (PBG), Montreal-Trudeau (YUL), and Northeast Kingdom International (EFK). Private transfers and group shuttles can be arranged through the resort, with advance booking recommended.
Driving is the most flexible option, with well-maintained roads leading to the resort. Free parking is available at multiple base areas, and ski-in/ski-out lodging eliminates the need for daily transit. If you&rsquo;re chasing powder, start your day on The Jet. This lift accesses north-facing terrain that holds snow longer, especially in the glades off Angel&rsquo;s Wiggle. Early laps here often deliver untouched lines even after a busy weekend.
Midweek visits&mdash;especially Tuesday through Thursday&mdash;offer the best chance for quiet slopes. The Aerial Tram opens up summit terrain with minimal wait times, and Ullr&rsquo;s Dream provides a long, scenic descent that&rsquo;s perfect for warming up.
Families should head to The Zone in the morning, when the learning area is freshly groomed and less crowded. The nearby Ice Haus indoor rink is a great midday break, especially for younger kids who need a change of pace.
Advanced skiers looking for challenge should drop into Valhalla after a storm. This glade holds snow exceptionally well and offers a mix of tight trees and open lines. It&rsquo;s accessible from the Flyer Quad and rarely gets tracked out early.
Apr&egrave;s-ski is best enjoyed at The Foundry, especially on Saturdays when The Eleven Patio hosts live music and cocktails until late. For a quieter vibe, the Tower Bar at Tram Haus Lodge offers mountain views and a relaxed atmosphere.
For scenic skiing, take a run down Vermonter in the late afternoon. The trail hugs the ridgeline and offers panoramic views of the Green Mountains. It&rsquo;s also a great spot for sunset photos if you time it right.
Freestyle riders should check out the park off the Bonaventure Quad. It&rsquo;s less crowded than the main park and features medium-sized jumps and rails that are perfect for progression. Morning sessions here are ideal before the snow softens.
If you&rsquo;re looking for solitude, explore the glades off Beaver Pond. These runs are tucked away and often overlooked, offering quiet lines and deep snow. They&rsquo;re best accessed from the Metro Quad and reward those willing to venture a bit further.
Night skiing isn&rsquo;t offered, but the Pump House Indoor Waterpark stays open late and is a great way to unwind. The lazy river and hot tubs are especially popular after a long day on the mountain.
