Firsthand Report

Amazing snow for late March! Lots of fresh snow made for powder everywhere in the morning and by afternoon some scraped off spots but still great. Finally got to ride the tram too. Lift lines were quite long though for all the upper mountain lifts.

Jay Peak is tucked into Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, just a few miles south of the Canadian border. With 385 acres of skiable terrain and an average annual snowfall of 308 inches, it’s one of the snowiest resorts in the East. The mountain rises from a base elevation of 1,815 feet to a summit of 3,968 feet, offering a vertical drop of 2,153 feet.
