Solitude should use more snow like all Rocky Mountain resorts, but it’s much better than I was expecting. Great coverage even on Blacks, and lift lines/people are minimal.

Definitely NOT a powder day! Despite the 3 to 4 inches of snow overnight and, unless you got out there at 0900 when the visibility was poor, the conditions on the mid and lower mountain were awful. Great groomers, some good snow up top in the chutes and snow not in the sun, minimal lines and a lot of fun
