A spectacular bluebird day. Although the locals we rode the chair with complained….those of us who flew in for the week were quite happy.

It’s not powder, but there is snow falling. Maybe an inch accumulation near the top. Prob too warm at bottom to stick

Solitude should use more snow like all Rocky Mountain resorts, but it’s much better than I was expecting. Great coverage even on Blacks, and lift lines/people are minimal.

Definitely NOT a powder day! Despite the 3 to 4 inches of snow overnight and, unless you got out there at 0900 when the visibility was poor, the conditions on the mid and lower mountain were awful. Monster Day at Solitude! 14 in of freshies last night, white out conditions today added another 8-10!!! POW everywhere! Summit Express Open! Apex open! It’s da’shizzle!!!
