Well, I rolled in from Canada expecting snow turned out to be a very beautiful SnowBasin day minimalize easy to navigate lots of speed today snowboarding on Corey Smiths boards used to slush slasher most of the day. Fog at top, bit of a break mid-mountain, rain at bottom. Slushy snow throughout. Good portion of the mountain closed due to the variable conditions. Rough season but still one of my favorite Utah hills.

Groomers are ripping surprisingly well given lack of snow, very few icy spots. Off the groomers has very sketchy coverage.

There Jan 18 and 19. Beautiful sunny days but they need snow badly. Strawberry all closed. Runs are now hard pack or icy. Lines not long at all. The views are mainly brown mountains as opposed to snow capped
