Overview

Mont Tremblant Resort offers a one-of-a-kind experience both, on the mountain and within the pedestrian village located at its base. The resort receives abundant snowfall and has an extensive state-of-the-art snowmaking infrastructure with over 1,000 snow guns. There is a great mix of terrain that caters to all ability levels from beginners to experts.

Located about 80 miles north of Montreal, Mont Tremblant provides visitors with magnificent panoramic views of the Laurentians Mountains. The pedestrian only village is home to abundant dining, lodging and shopping options. The resort is a great destination for families, and it provides ski school and activities other than just skiing and snowboarding.

Where Is Tremblant Ski Resort Located?

The ski resort is located one and a half hours from Montreal, two hours from Ottawa and six and half hours from Toronto. The two closest U.S. cities are Boston (seven hours away) and New York (seven and a half hours). All these areas are served by major airports.

Slopeside condominium lodging and full service hotels. Additional lodging lies 1 to 10 miles away with 5,000 beds; many provide transportation to the slopes.

Mont Tremblant Resort covers over 755 skiable acres, including 178 acres of glades, and has a great mix of beginner to advanced terrain. The resort receives an abundance of snowfall (156 inches) and is complimented by one of the largest snowmaking systems in North America, which covers 465 acres. The ski resort has 102 trails and 4 slopes, supported by 14 lifts. The summit sits at 2,871 feet with a base elevation of 755 feet and a total vertical of 2,116 feet.

The resort is home to long perfectly groomed intermediate and beginner trails. The breakout is 21% beginner, 32% intermediate and 46% advanced, and there are 3 snowparks with 60 modules in 3 different areas of the mountain. The longest trail is 3.7 miles. Advanced and experts will find excellent mogul trails and some tree glades.

Tremblant has been spinning the chairs since 1939 and has developed into a world-class, year-round resort that offers a wide array of activities and major events. The resort is one of the most scenic resorts in North America and has an abundance of shopping, restaurants, boutiques and even a casino. There are also a lot of summer activities in the area, including golfing and the Tremblant Golf Academy. There’s also a snow school for beginners.
