Awesome mountain but long lift lines and expensive.
Great Skiing
Long lift line/ Expensive
I used to enjoy skiing at Blue and appreciated its generous senior ticket prices. no longer! It has gone greedy corporate. The senior daily ski discounts are gone. The lifts lines are too long and too many skiers are on the popular trails for safety. Two favorite trails, Sidewinder and Switchback, are the last to get snowmaking and as of 1/30/24 are still closed. When every trail is open the trails are numerous and varied for Pennsylvania. The highest true vertical in PA provides long runs and the runs are well-cut to take advantage of the mountain terrain. Blue is a much more interesting and varied resort to ski than Camelback.
A substantial vertical, and A GOOD VARIETY AND NUMBER OF TRAILS , especially for Pennsylvania.
my two favorite trails, Switchback and Sidewinder, are the last to get snowmaking and open which is disappointing. The resort has gone corporate and I hate the new pricing system and the removal of the past senior ticket discounts. The crowds have increa

Blue mountain went on Ikon Pass this year and is completely overcrowded. If people post about it on facebook, showing screen shots from their own webcams and expressing concerns about safety they will delete the post and block your account from even being able to see their own facebook page. They have done this to many people who are season pass holders. Corporate greed has taken over there.
Nice mountain
Overcrowded, not safe and hiding reviews

Snow is fine. Very large crowd. Lift lines take forever. Fun fact if you have a midweek season pass you cannot go through the season pass lines anymore. In addition the closer parking costs money. This place used to be the best now it is a joke. Going to finish off the season but will be moving on to another mountain. Just not what it was.
Has snow and is close
Over packed and seem to be squeezing money out of everyone

Awesome place. We keep coming back (skiing more than 50 days a season so got comparison ). Terrain parks are underwhelming though and not even a park team.
Still the best in pa
Not much emphasis on good parks.

I dont really have much to say, I just want to thank Avi, the patrol instructer for helping me towards the end and getting me to my parents safely. he taught me how to ski while helping me get down to the service area. it was fun being at blue mountain resort. big thanks to Avi.

It's a great resort overall, they have really good snowmaking and lots of trails but the terrain parks are not that good and the lift lines get really long later in the day
Great vertical drop and great variety
Not very good terrain parks and long lift lines

I've skied a few times this season already and each time, even though prices are much higher (understandable), the lifts are not running and the lines to get up the mountain are crazy long. Nothing like standing elbow to elbow with people for long stretches of time waiting for the lift. Plan on many less runs.
Great mountain
Horrible Lift Operation-Not enough running to accommodate the crowd

I have always loved Blue. Me and my wife made it our go to mountain for day trips for years. They always have better conditions then the other mountains in the north eastern PA/ Pocono area. However over the last year its gotten ridiculously expensive for no real reason. They use to have great deals like buy 2 full day lift tickets and get food vouchers (the slopeside grill is great)... now If you get a free day last minute and try to buy a ticket they will charge you $100 for a 4 hour ticket, and just say "Its dynamic pricing"... I can get a full day lift ticket anywhere else in the area for $80 or less. New ownership, price gauging drove us to Bear Creek, which was just renovated and has amazing amenities.
Great snowmaking and small weekday crowds
New ownership jacked up the prices, and ruined it
