Skied at “The Knob” yesterday 1/29/19. We lucked out with 4-5 inches of new fresh powder driving up the mountain and all morning!
I skied here back in the 60’s and 70’s as a kid and this is the first time back since about 1975, so I have very fond memories of the mountain.
Please support the new owners in their efforts to upgrade a creaky old gem of a skier’s mountain local to DC, Balt, & Pittsburgh. This is inexpensive, no frills skiing (check out the great deals), so don’t expect the facilities (lodge, lifts, snowmaking) to be state of the That said, it’s perfect for a one or two day trip with friends or family to stay in shape for your bigger trips out west. It’s very important on many levels that these local ski mountains like Blue Knob be kept open and viable.
