OnTheSnow.com’s visitors and app users have chosen Winter Park as the most family-friendly ski resort in North America in its annual Visitors’ Choice Awards for the 2023-2024 season. OnTheSnow’s users, who take millions of destination ski trips each winter, rated and reviewed the resorts they visit for characteristics such as terrain, après -ski, family friendliness, terrain parks, and more. Winter Park was rated no. 1 as the most family-friendly ski resort.
Winter Park has no shortage of activities and unique experiences designed for families, including GlowNight snow tubing, ice skating, nature snowshoe tours, and the snowcat and s’mores tour. After a day of skiing and riding, families can take the free gondola up to the resort’s mountaintop lodge for live music and food and drinks with great views. The resort also has a fantastic ski and ride school featuring private lessons, multi-week lessons, skills clinics, and more.
