I have watched my home mountain transform over the last decade from a well sectioned resort with an region leading terrain park on south and bear peaks. The expertly crafted terrain on the southern peaks has been slowly phased out for bare trails. Bear peak is now barren of features now covered my racing, and beginner trails. South had been piddled away to become two isolated single trail mini parks with unoriginal and non progressive features, on Vernon peak that have added a park but with a 30 minute travel time between lifts and trails it's hardly worth the trip. This also brings the young teen park crowd onto the family focused area of the mountain damaging the experience for families and park skiers alike. Creek was a great sectioned to separate different abilities and disciplines of skiers to the different peaks. Now it is a frustrating melting pot of all abilities for beginners and experts alike.
