    Snow Reporter Comments

TGIF, the weekend is almost here and we're ready with day and night winter fun. All 5 lifts are scheduled today (3 for night) providing access to all 17 trails open (10 for night). Our groomers made their rounds on all 17 trails last night and we'll see loose/frozen granular conditions today will begin to rebound and improve every day following recent spring-like temp cycles and Thursday's wet/wintry precipitation. Expect surfaces to be on the fast and firm side and caution should be used with ungroomed surfaces. We remain 100% open for day & night skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing & more.

The Twisted Pine Terrain Park is scheduled to be open with a mix of six small and medium elements located on Crooked Pine trail and the "Big Jump" located on the East Slope, but may be delayed as crews work to reshape ramps and landings following Thursday's wet weather.

Nordic trails have unfortunately taken a hit with recent spring-like temp cycles and wet/wintry precipitation and have not been groomed recently. XC skiing not recommended at this time and conditions are more favorable currently for snowshoeing or fat biking until we should see more natural snow, but we'll continue to assess sections to see if grooming may be possible. Natural firm base depths of 6-12" on all trails and caution is advised on all surfaces, including lake crossings, as some sections experienced thaw/freeze cycles, puddling and are icy.

The Tohko Dome Ice Skating Rink has also not been able to be resurfaced in some time due to warm temps and high humidity levels, but we're hoping to be able to resurface that soon, possibly even today if conditions permit.
