Snow Reporter Comments

Welcome to the weekend! We remain 100% open with all 17 trails and all lifts scheduled today and 10 trails and 2 lifts for tonight. We're expecting our groomers to have refreshed conditions overnight on 16 0f 17 trails (Pitch Pine not groomed) and skiers will be enjoying crisp, morning corduroy surfaces with loose and frozen granular snow that will soften through the day with today's warming temps and sunshine. The Terrain Park is open with 9 rail, box and snow features and a medium jump on the East Slope. Don’t miss tonight’s King’s Mark Freeride Series Big Air event! Also, enjoy today's final Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides of the season 11 a.m.-1 p.m. or you can check out the 2 p.m. Snowshoe Tour or tonight’s Moonlight Tour at 7 p.m. Limited spots, call 367-8896 for reservations.

Take advantage of our top notch ski school services including children's programs, Learn To Ski or Snowboard and private lessons. With the busy week, reservations are recommended. Our rental shop is here to provide you all the skiing, snowboarding, nordic and ice-skating equipment you may need and the tune shop is ready to keep the gear you own sharp and in top shape.

For the Purity Spring Resort XC & Snowshoe Reserve Nordic trails are open with approximately 1”-10" base of machine-groomed and variable firm and "spring-like" granular conditions. Our groomers are planning to freshly "skate" groom approximately 15 km of trails this morning, but will not put down any "classic" track groom. Any trail that is on the lake is “pass at your own risk” as there is no snow on the lake. This includes the Lake Trail, Narrows Trail and Lodge Connector lake crossing. Snowshoe trails are accessible and warmer temps will continue to soften snow through the day. Rental equipment available in the rental shop located at King Pine main base lodge.

King Pine - Conditions were great! Very surprised with the lack of real snow thus far this season. Even after a full day of skiing there was very little ice. Great day all around! - © aphilippe0054
