Unfortunately given the changing media landscape, Mountain News Corporation has experienced financial declines in recent years. With additional economic challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic now facing our business, it is not financially viable to continue operating.

Mountain News Corporation and our OnTheSnow and Skiinfo websites will be shutting down. We will explore the possibility of selling, partnering, or contributing assets to another media outlet if there is an opportunity to allow for a consistent or enhanced online experience. Beautiful day on the mountain! The snow is soft, the coverage on the open tuns is good, and the sun is out! For some reason they are not opening chair 3 and 4, ifs just chair 1 and 2 today. Considering the lame winter were having, the conditions are great!

New freshies over night made the slopes GREAT!! Pretty windy in the morning but it was still good. As the sun peeked through the snow started to ice over. Hopefully you were here today!

Horrible coverage. I was still charged $55 for a day pass when half the mountain is dirt. Chair 2 has the best "snow" but its still horrible.
