This mountain's steeps and snow will rival any resort. Not a lot of cliffs/boulders/rocks to enjoy. Snow is good to great depending, gets a bunch of powder and holds it well. The hike to Wardner is worth the trip and untouched lines.

When all runs are open, it's a blast. I love the Gondola ride that gets you excited to board/ski. Also, it is not a fancy place, and it really makes you focused on the beautiful views and runs they offer! The people here have never been rude, and the bunny hill for new learners is very nice. ... Silver Mountain is a great family friendly ski area that appeals to everyone at all levels. It is convenient with the Gondola in Kellogg. It offers amazing views of the Bitteroot Mountain range and the Silver Valley. They are willing to work with people and groups to provide a great overall experience from skiing, snowboarding, swimming, etc. You must give it a try!... Full Review

It was honestly shocking. We stood as close to the door as possible for as long as possible to be safe but there’s no way I’d come back here. It also took a solid hour to get through the ski rental line even though we reserved them in advance.... Full Review

My typical day at Silver Mouutain: 25 minute drive from CDA, via I-90, exit right into gondola parking lot. 20 minutes on gondola to mountain haus. 1st run on long, uncrowded groomer, to top of mountain lift. No line there - 7 minutes to top. 96 trails thereafter, few people. Whole mountain feels like mine. Take a run. Next lift- also no line. Repeat all day. ... Full Review
