Terrible today. Lots of stuff roped off. Only groomers and mogul runs open which were all washed off by mid-day.
I broke a 7 day old snowboard on the rocks sticking up between moguls.
Base depth is a true 6-10” of hardpack or ~12” of
wet powder if you can find any that’s not roped off.

No powder. All hard packed, top to bottom. Icy in spots. Basically the same conditions as everywhere else in Summit county right now.

For a small base pretty soft and nice out there. Bring rock skis if you want to ski blacks though.

Thanks for Covid update. We'll be there for 2 weeks at the beginning of Feb. Have 7 days skiing reserved. hopefully we can keep scheduling days as they are used.

In response to the previous poster asking about the covid ski experience, a few notes. All vail resorts are similar and doing a great job IMO. Reservations required, Mask enforcement, lift lines spaced out, chair lifts for groups already together or space between people if they are ok with it, takeout food or in some cases reservations required. Overall experience has been good. Hats off to vail staff!

BC continues to open more. Larkspur and Rose bowl just opened. Amazing skiing & plenty of snow. Groomers towards the top are in great shape. BC staff doing a good job of managing through the pandemic.
