Like Spring Skiing Sat clear & sunny and with several inches of snow from Friday, there was great powder on beginner & intermediate trailstrailstrails. Like was a little

looks like the entire mountain was groomed. I've never seen that much of a bay groomed. also more exposed rocks and thin spots than normal. needs a good storm or two of dumping

Pretty good day at the Basin Saturday but the parking lots were full by 1030. Most packed I've ever seen the place but lift lines moved and still powder to be found in the trees

First day at A-Bay and had a relatively good day considering there was no new snow. Had a good time riding on Grizzly, Loafer and the trees off those runs.

Skied A Basin today. Long lines and need snow bad. Very thin coverage. Almost like spring conditions.

Josh, I ski @ Breck every year(coming from sea level). If you carry a backpack, get a small 02 can and carry it. Weighs literally nothing, but my O2 meter and pulse will tell you they work great. Ever if you want to do a hike. Lay off the heavy foods and not too much protein. And hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. And if you really want to wake up refreshed(if you are sleeping at 10k), rent an 02 machine and sleep with it the first night or two...I've been told by docs that your body can get deprived at night as well(not compensating for altitude as it should with increased pulse/respiration), leading to you starting your day in the hole...

Josh , a basin is high up but you should be fine. The top is exposed so be mindful of windy days. Be sure to be well hydrated and eat well just like any other day you go riding

Had a question, I went to copper (starts at 9700-12500) and had no problems with the elevation. Does the extra 1000 ft at a basin make such a difference that I'll have issues here but not there?

EPIC fail!!! Vail Resorts has killed this place. No parking and huge lines today. Go elsewhere.
