The untamed wilderness of the Teton Mountain Range in Wyoming and its handful of ski resorts is one of the most popular ski and snowboard destinations in the world.
The crown jewel of Wyoming skiing and snowboarding is Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, a skiing and snowboarding Mecca, thanks to its 2,500 acres of challenging in-bounds terrain and open backcountry gate system that provides access to over 3000 acres of skiable terrain. Snow King is also located in the town of Jackson, and provides night skiing for those who prefer to shred after dark.
On the western slope of the Tetons, skiers and riders will find Grand Targhee Resort, where lift lines are non-existent and light Wyoming powder snow is abundant. Smaller, local resorts are also dispersed throughout the state, such as Hogadon, Snow King Resort and White Pine Ski Area.
