Great time at Whitecap, as always! Snow was a bit icy here and there, but good enough for some aggressive skiing.

Nice family beginner hill. Luckily they received 8 inches the night we arrived. The powder was great. Unfortunately two of their total lifts are no longer operational making about 20% of their hill hard to ski because you practically have to walk to the lift. The place is sort of a ghost town, old, but friendly people. Lifts are old and slow, but expected based on the cost of a lift ticket. Good times, but the family will be looking for something else next year.

Snow is nice and powdery, not groomed today but there is a decently packed base. Lots of unmarked hazards (big holes). Runs are WIDE open for a Saturday, tons of space. Separate mountains result in a lot of uphill skiing. major lack of signing, hard to to find your way around on your first day. No high-speed lifts.

Skied all nye, New Years, and the 2nd. Pretty decent conditions, temp was frigid. Don't bother with the peak to peak lift. Nothing on the other hill had enough snow.

Light snow cover on most runs. Snow was soft and a bit wet due to warm weather. Not the best conditions, runs have not been groomed.
