While it wasn't as deep as the 30" that fell at Maine's Sugarloaf this week, the skiing was smooth and untracked at Vermont's Bolton Valley

Bolton Valley - Only 8 trails open today, mostly green. The snow was not horrible considering the rain yesterday.

Bolton Valley - Sat/Sun great conditions. Saturday's warmth led to some late day and early Sun stickys on the sides of some of the flatter trails, but oberall great for late Feb....

Bolton Valley - 5" or 6" overnight. Still waist-deep in the trees. Quad was closed today due to wind. Here is the scene from where Upper Crossover lets out.

Bolton Valley - sure...the peak lifts are closed, but this mountain is still the best in VT! received a voucher because we couldn't get to the top. Love BV!

Just lots and lots of fresh snow. Friday was just amazing in the woods. Tons of fresh snow and lots of untouched terrain.

Noone on the mountain due to Temps but no clouds and full sun all day. can't believe the amount of endless freshies to be had on such a fine day

Day 2. Temp is colder than yesterday. trails will in good shape with machine groomed and hard pack in spots. Advanced trails have some bare spots. over all good spring conditions.

Decent snow on main trails , some bear spots on advanced rails. Had a lot of low clouds today. Not too bad for early spring ridding

packed powder, groomed on main trails. some hard pack on heavy traffic areas. there are a few advanced trails with bare spot. over all not too shabby fore early spring. low cloud cover today.

I have a season pass to smugglers notch but tried Bolton for the first time today. I found the grooming to be much better and there were no lift lines. I really enjoyed Bolton and it wasn't super expensive!

Had a coupon and tried Bolton on our last day in VT Saturday. Conditions were very nice considering the snow deficit in the area this year. Lots of different terrain and small mountain feel. They need a parking lot shuttle for really busy days.

First time riding in the East and had a blast. This place seems like it would be incredible after some solid dumps. I hope to come back again this winter.

just got here. walked up the hill a little ways came down and the snow was super sticky hope it's better tomorrow.
