cool village, great food
high taxes on any purchase, cold, dated lifts

Full review

Overall a cool village with great food and people. However, with 20% tax on everything the exchange with the American dollar is negated. This includes meals etc. Terrain is average but the lifts are very dated. The lifts from the village are a crowded, slow, dated quad chair and a even more crowded gondola. I have been here twice and the temperature has been inhuman and ice was everywhere on the slopes. Not sure the snowmaking is up to date either. I'm on the fence if its worth the drive versus the Vermont mountains. Probably not, other than the village/food. Very cool vibe for the non skiers with lots of off mountain activities.
